Returns and Shipping Policy
At Wantech Electronics we seek to offer professional technical development both in our services and through the products we sell, hence, its our main goal to make our customers happy with their purchases. To ensure that our customers are pleased with the products we sell to them we test out all products before we send them out. However if you find that an item you have is faulty then you can return the product to us and we will either repair or replace it, subject to the below terms. This policy only applies to products bought from Wantech Stores and not from Third Party Sellers unless brought forward by the third party seller.
Steps to follow when preparing your products for a return
If the product you wish to return was purchased from one of our stores, simply bring the product with its packaging to the store where the product was purchased and ask for assistance. However if the product you wish to return was purchased online through the Wantech website you are responsible for the following when returning your products:
- Log into the Wantech website and log a product return request upon which you will receive a return reference number, Package your products safely in the original package that came with it and secure it for protection during transit and clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel and make sure you include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product, otherwise your return will not be accepted. Our online team will guide you on how you can ship the product to us.
NB: Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether.
Wantech Electronics does not refund money to customers for returns, we only repair or replace the products. We only process returns that are made within the fourteen (14) days from the day of purchase.once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will send you a confirmation letter confirming the receipt of your return and process your replacement within 3 working days . Returns made within 14 (fourteen) days will be replaced while returns made after the stated time frame will be repaired. On items being sent for repairs please note that we will need maximum of 10 (ten) working days to effect repairs and re-send the product to you
Want to exchange?
Our products can be exchanged only for a different color variation, provided that such variation is available and the customer either picks up at the nearest store or they pay for the courier charges that will arise from the exchange process. We are entitled to inspect the product to validate your return. Exchanges will ONLY be done to unopened and un-used products.
Not what you ordered?
Damaged Products and Defects
All our products carry a six (6) months warranty except for cables and screen protectors. Should a product become defective within this period then we will effect repairs within 14 days after the product is returned to us. Damaged or defective items can be returned within 7 days in accordance with our returns policy. Please refer to the return policy on the definition of a defect, also please note that:
- Products will need to be inspected and tested by our in-house technicians before a replacement or repair will be offered;
- Products damaged due to inappropriate use or wear and tear will not be covered under this returns policy. Further, no returns will be issued on product(s) found to be obsolete, returned damaged, re-machined products or where there is obvious evidence that the product(s) were tampered with or altered. In such case, you will be notified of our findings;
- If the return is being made because of a factory error or defective material, depending on the outcome of our inspection, a replacement or repair will be offered based on the findings of the technician
- If our technicians determine that the returned product(s) are not defective then a handling fee will be charged. Customers will be notified of this and asked how they want the product(s) couriered back to them in this instance. On the day the customer is notified, he/she will have fourteen days to inform us how they want the product(s) returned to them. In the event the customer does not respond to us within the fourteen days, we will discard the product(s).
ALL ITEMS LEFT IN OUR REPAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR MORE THAN 60 DAYS WILL BE SOLD TO COVER STORAGE COSTS.
When will I receive my Shipment from Wantech Electronics?
Here at Wantech we prides ourselves with having a very fast and efficient dispatching department. All orders made before 10am will be processed and dispatched on that same day, in most cases, within Johannesburg and Pretoria areas, two of our courier options will deliver on that same day, if not they will deliver the following morning.
